4. Handmade and Custom Products
Many of our products are made by hand in our Cretan workshop. Small variations in size, finish and appearance may occur.
Custom, personalised or engraved items are made specifically for the customer. Please check all names, text, initials, dates and custom details carefully before placing your order.
We are not responsible for spelling mistakes or incorrect details provided by the customer for custom or engraved products.
5. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you agree that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
After placing an order, you may receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation means that we have received your order request. It does not guarantee acceptance if there is a pricing error, stock issue, payment problem or delivery restriction.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Product unavailability
- Incorrect price or product information
- Payment failure or suspected fraud
- Incomplete or incorrect customer details
- Shipping restrictions
- Orders that appear to be placed for unauthorised resale
If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item or order.

We ship orders from Crete, Greece, to destinations in Greece, Europe and worldwide, where delivery is available.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs checks, courier delays, holidays, weather conditions, incorrect addresses or other circumstances outside our control.
The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information.
For international orders outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or local charges may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our product or shipping prices unless clearly stated.
8. Risk of Delivery
We pack every order carefully before shipping. Once an order has been handed to the courier or postal service, delivery is handled by the shipping provider.
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] with your order number and clear photos of the damaged product and packaging.
9. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Please review our Return Policy before placing an order.
You may request a return within fourteen (14) days from the date you receive your order, provided that the item is unused, undamaged and in its original condition.
Custom, personalised or engraved items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item received was damaged, faulty or incorrect.
Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the returned item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our side.
10. Product Care
Olive wood is a natural material and should be cared for properly.
Unless otherwise stated, our olive wood products should not be placed in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. They should not be soaked in water for long periods.
We recommend hand washing with mild soap, drying immediately and occasionally applying food-safe oil to maintain the wood.
We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect use, poor care, dishwasher cleaning, soaking, extreme heat or misuse of the product.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, product descriptions, images, graphics, logos, layout, design, product photos and website content, belongs to Olive Wood Shop or is used with permission.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
You may print or save pages from our website only for personal, non-commercial use.
12. Wholesale and B2B Enquiries
